Breathwork

What is conscious and connected breathwork?

Also known as: Breathwork Journey, DMT Breathwork, Transformational Breathwork, Psychedelic Breathwork, Spiritual Awakening Breath...

Conscious Connected Breathing (CCB)” is a cyclical, continuous, and connected breathing technique.  CCB in particular is a tool for personal development and growth that allows you to see more clearly and gain a better perspective on your life.

Possible Experiences :

01

Every session and every experience is different. The experience varies from person to person. It all depends on your ability to let go and let yourself be guided by your breath. Simply come to each session trusting that your breath will take you exactly where you need to go.

02

Altered states of consciousness: these breathing techniques can induce altered states of consciousness. This breathing opens up the possibility for our emotions to emerge. You may therefore feel very euphoric, happy, joyful, peaceful, or experience a huge wave of heavy and uncomfortable emotions rising to the surface that may take you by surprise. Just let whatever wants to come, come..

03

Very clear moments, perhaps a response to your intention, or perhaps not, because your breath will always guide you where you need to go, not always where you want to go.

04

We release endorphins, so if you are experiencing pain or tension in your body, you may feel some relief at the end.

05

You are always in control and guided throughout the experience.

FAQ

HOW DOES A SESSION UNFOLD?

It is very important to create a sense of security and trust in your body in order to fully enjoy your conscious and connected breathing experience. The first part of the session will focus on grounding using functional breathing techniques, EFT tapping, and a few somatic exercises. The second part will consist of practicing conscious and connected breathing, followed by a discussion and sharing of impressions with the group, if you wish.

ARE THERE ANY CONTRAINDICATIONS TO PRACTICING CCB BREATHING?

Yes, and it is advisable to seek advice from your doctor if you have any doubts. If you suffer from any of the following conditions, avoid practicing CCB breathing:

-Cardiovascular disease, including stroke.

- High blood pressure (not controlled by medication) or low blood pressure.

- Diagnosis of cerebral or abdominal aneurysm.

- Epilepsy and/or seizures

- Previous diagnosis of bipolar disorder or schizophrenia or history of psychosis

- Pregnancy

- Retinal detachment

-If you have asthma, it is advisable to bring your inhaler.

WILL I FEEL DIZZY OR SPACY AFTERWARDS?

Once you start breathing through your nose again, your CO2 and O2 levels quickly return to normal. The time we spend coming back after the breathing session is enough to feel alert and clear-headed before leaving the session.

I ALWAYS FALL ASLEEP DURING MEDITATION. DO PEOPLE OFTEN FALL ASLEEP DURING A CCB BREATHING SESSION?

It is very unlikely that you will fall asleep, as this breathing technique is actually “work.” You will be able to relax at the end of the session when we return to breathing through the nose. Because we breathe through the mouth (which feels unnatural) and focus on circular breathing, this technique is more energizing than relaxing, especially at the beginning.
